ok one it's fell not fail, he was doing a good job up until the pool, so he didn't fail. i think someone should have warned him i feel bad for the photographer. this is not funny at all
The photographer was extremely unprofessional. Who follows the newly weds all the way down the aisle whenever they have a dslr with the zooming capability of 70+ mm?
That's what he deserves, right? I hate people who take pictures at weddings, they are always in the way of the sexy brides maids. How am I supposed to get laid now?
As a wedding photographer, I'm kinda surprised he didn't take note of the fountain beforehand. Then again though, when you're focused on the job it'd be easy to have this happen to. Anyway, CF cards should be fine. Cameras and lenses might have some water damage though. Looks like he had a $1.6k f2.8 on him too. Ouch.
As a complete aside - the images would have been fine. You can stick CF cards through the wash without a hitch. The cameras, if they were switched off and left to dry for a considerable amount of time may also have made it.
Not fancying the chances of that Quantum pack, though. I'm surprised he didn't get electrocuted with that much power submerged.
Poor bastard actually got lucky he didn't crack his skull off that marble. While I wouldn't wish this upon anyone but as a wedding videographer I can't stand selfish photogs getting in the way of our shots constantly. Most are cool though if spoken to beforehand. But hopefully this is a reminder to the ones that aren't, sh*t happens!
That was a nice L series canon lens on the right that was submerged for so long...he's got to be pissed! That's a high dollar lens. And hats off to the video guy for not warning him! :)
Amen, amen, I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. And this photographer is now free from Satan.
Be funny. Don't be mean. We may remove comments that cross the line.

Was that a Polaroid Instamatic?
Priceless!
From now on, This guy is blessed for live!
Looked like karma to me. The couple doesn't have the decency to help the photographer out of the fountain. They deserve to lose their photos.
Oh no.... :( Nice equipment... Ruined!
nice that someone was there to stop him....
That's what he deserves, right? I hate people who take pictures at weddings, they are always in the way of the sexy brides maids. How am I supposed to get laid now?
Thus guy took water damage to another level.
don't hurry getting up. Your gear became an insurance claim the second you fell in.
70-200mm 2.8 assuming it's a MKI (1500) looked like a 24-70mm 2.8 (1500) a 7D? and a 1DS? That's about 10,000 in total lol
Well, there went at least $7000.00
is the groom like 14 years old?
Anyone else notice how the flash was pointing in the wrong direction?
I noticed it. Did he have his camera backwards?....
omg all those cameras! ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
wow, just wow. there goes ALL your cameras..... dumbass...

Double sided flash?! He has the speedlight straight up and he's using a diffuser. Were you born stupid or has America just made you this way?
Look at it before he fell. The camera is backwards.

Now he will have to film cheap porn
