This is a transcript of This Day in History April 25 on Newsfeed...It is April 25th and just because Easter happened doesn’t mean you have to be loser that only talks about Easter on Monday. Here are three historical moments that took place today: One, this day in 1939 DC comics introduced the character of Batman, which went on to become one of the most popular comics of all-time. Batman was very rich and he punched criminals. Bill Gates is half of a Batman. Two, in 1983 the Pioneer 10 robotic space probe traveled beyond Pluto’s orbit and officially made the word “probe” the most hilarious word in elementary schools across America. And finally, two great thespians were born: Al Pacino, with the gift of stunning dramatic acting and Renee Zellweger, born with the gift of always doing an impression of an Asian lady sucking on a lemon.
