The latest Sony BRAVIA televisions have introduced a new technology called Motionflow. This technology improves the viewing experience by increasing the number of frames shown per second. Standard televisions show on average 50 clips per second hence they are commonly known as 50Hz televisions. The images appear quite slow to the human eye and produce a juddery image.
