A dust cloud is seen following the explosion of a missile, outside the strategic oil port of Brega Rebels in the east of Libya have painted the roofs of their vehicles bright pink to avoid more friendly fire casualties after a Nato air strike which they claimed killed five fighters. NATO offers explanation for killing rebels yesterday: Quote I am not apologising. The situation in the area is still very fluid, with tanks and other vehicles moving in different directions making it very difficult to see who is operating them. In addition, up to this time we had not seen the TNC [rebel] operating tanks. Evidence of the increasingly fractuous relationship between Nato and Libyan rebels in Benghazi, as hundreds of protesters shout Down with Nato in front of the rebellions headquarters.
