Host of celebrities launch Cancer Research UK's Race for Life

This week we launched Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life series with a motley crew of celebrities as well as several women from around the country who all starred in a live ad by recreating the police line-up from the iconic Usual Suspects film poster, but re-done in Race for Life colours and aptly renamed ‘the UnUsual Susepcts’ The celebrities are all ambassadors for Race for Life 09 and part of the ‘If I Can Do It’ campaign which is utilising unlikely ambassadors for the series of 5k events to highlight that anyone can take part in Race for Life whatever their age, shape, size and fitness level. Our ‘line-up’ included: • Laila Morse, ‘Big Mo’ in Eastenders, aged 63 (doing it in memory of Wendy Richards) • Ruth Lorenzo, X Factor Finalist, aged 26 • Lynda Bellingham, actress, aged 60 • Rebekah Gibbs, actress, aged 35 • Amy Lam?, comedienne, aged 38 • Diana Moran, keep fit TV presenter, aged 69 Each Race for Life event covers a distance of 5k and Cancer Research UK is encouraging wo
