June 27th, 2010 5-00pm Spadina/Queen intersection, Toronto, Canada. Over 200 Riot Police stand at attention and wait for the crowd to peacefully finish singing the Canadian National Anthem, at which point they charge the crowd, beating people with metal and wooden rods. I took shelter in a restaurant to get this amazing footage. Over 300 innocent people were arrested an hour later, 50 meters from where I was standing by the police that cornered them at an intersection. The police were funnelling people from 6 different streets into this intersection, preventing those that wanted to leave, from doing so, only to arrest hundreds later. Help spread the word about police brutality in this democratic country!!!!
