A Small Step towards a Big Leap... As the old saying goes, in the midst of difficulty lies the opportunity, Humera, a small village girl discovered a brilliant way to tackle with a common problem that she and children around her were facing -- their parents did not know English. These zealous children, students of Vidya Prabhat School, Bajpur, (a small village in Uttarakhand) wanted their parents to learn how to talk in English. Looking at the eagerness and enthusiasm of these children, Educomp R&D embarked on an initiative. The team of Educomp R&D, together with facilitators of Vidya Prabhat School, espoused the social cause of teaching the parents how to speak in English. A programme was set off whereby children became the torchbearers and took the responsibility of making their parents learn English.
