PHOENIX, AZ -- Police officer Patrick Larrison is facing criminal charges after he was videotaped arresting a 15-year-old girl by body-slamming her to the ground. Police officer Patrick Larrison has been placed on administrative leave this week after video of the arrest on January 25 in Phoenix, Arizona was posted on YouTube and seen by another officer. Investigators are carrying out both an internal and criminal investigation on Larrison, who has worked for the Phoenix Police Department for six-and-a-half years, ABC News reports. The three-minute video shows the teenager, who has not been identified, fighting with her mother in a car park in Charter East, part of the Ombudsman Charter Schools in Phoenix. The girl was reportedly intoxicated and sharing alcohol at her school. The footage shows the mother trying to pin her daughter to the ground but the teenager eventually struggles free and starts to walk away.
