Posted by ivap on Oct. 06, 2010

A story about the history of Bulgaria through the eyes of the 100 years old Janka Paneva. The director Iva Paneva embarks on a journey from South Africa, where she lives, in order to investigate her roots and the dilemma between past nostalgia and present awareness. The filmmaker hyperbolizes the concept of time by spending 100 days in the village of Blaskovo, living with her aunt. The film portrays the live-journey of this centenarian in order to explore how World Wars, Communism regime and the present Democracy have changed her, her country and her village.
