This Day in Sports History April 21

This is a transcript of This Day in Sports History – April 21…Today, in sports history. Unlike the rest of the population I could care less about sports, but there was one particular story that caught my attention. In 1980 today Rosie Ruiz, a 26 year-old Cuban immigrant won the womens side of the Boston Marathon finishing it just under 3 hours. It was quickly revealed though that she cheated and took the subway running only the last mile. I mean she had the right idea…who wants to watch women’s sports just skip to the end and show me something shiny.
