how did you even get that to work???? when u attach the neutral and hot wire to a conductor at the same time you would trip the circuit. You would have to hook one lead to the door knob and a steel conductor for a door mat and even then the person would have to be barefoot...but then u might kill them.

i never call fake, but i am surprised anyone could think this was real. first of all, the cords hooked up like that would have instantly made a short. everything else was just rediculous. the spark was very obviously edited in (poorly). the sound put in with the spark was fake. the burn was fake as you would not be using that area of your palm without also touching your fingers to the handle. and 10,000 volts? really? were the idiots who made this trying to make it seem as far fetched as possible?

Fake Anyone that knows electricity knows that in the first shot of the video where they show that they had an extension cord wraped with foil the foil would have completed the arc between the 2 cable ends.

the video is real!!!! But what happens in the video is fake. Its only 110v, and it would have pinned his hand to the door handle IF electricity actually flowed through the door handle. If it was 10k volts, the aftermath would be more like melted, charred flesh with a side of vaporized fingers or toes.

FAKE! - by putting the two wires from the mains supply on the door handle the protection circuit, i.e. RCD, MCB, in your house with trip, as it induces a short circuit. Its also obv 110v, there's no step up transformer in that circuit, and the fake arc is just.. well.. pants.. its the wrong colour for a start.. electric arcs a bluey colour.. not yellow.. that enough proof? Nice try tho..

ok...for the last time....this shit is stupid and fake...it's not 10k volts cuz you only get 110v out of that socket and if you wanted 220v, you would need a drier outlet. second...there was a comment about amps....your heart would stop with 1 amp going through you because amps is what pushes the volts....it's like the force behind the power....no more dumb ass shock videos or someone will get F#cked up.

If anyone ever wants to make a real video like this fake one, you should get a neon transformer. They produce 15,000 volts from an input of 120 volts. Probably won't kill anyone unless they have a heart condition or something, but if you kill your buddy it's your own fault.
@mbh9999 I forgot to mention it probably will produce some burns that will require medical attention, but that's just some good clean fun.

Seriously, lets get some better videos on here. This was the dumbest video I've seen in a very long time. I would take the time to explain why it's fake, but theres no reason why anyone should except this video as real. Instead I think that break should do all of it's members a favor and place videos worth watching on the homepage as an apology for making us watch this POS video made by some nerd who lacks the talent to make a decent video. I cannot believe this made it to the homepage!!!
