President Trump Talks About What He Did As President During His First Week

President Donald Trump issued the first weekly address of his presidency, apparently demonstrating how his administration will sidestep the mainstream media to send his message directly to the American people.

In the video, Trump touched on several of his earliest accomplishments and emphasized the speed at which he has fulfilled key campaign promises.

“This administration has hit the ground running at a record pace. Everybody’s talking about it. We’re doing it with speed and we’re doing it with intelligence. And we will never ever stop fighting on behalf of the American people,” Trump said into the camera.

By leveraging the power of the executive order, President Trump has withdrawn from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, set the stage to enabled construction on the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines, pushed forward the construction of the border wall, cracked down on sanctuary cities, and enacted a sweeping ban on refugees and immigrants from terror-prone countries.

Trump also sat down with a slew of manufacturing sector bigwigs and labor union leaders in a nod to his “America First” stance, warning of heavy border taxes for American companies who offshore their operations.
