We all understand that teachers need to blow off some steam from time to time, but a line was crossed when three Bangor, Michigan public school employees were caught on tape at a bar playing “F*ck, Marry, Kill” with special-needs students as their subjects.
The party game, in which one person lists three names and the rest of the players slot them into their personal category, is a decent way to kill time. But when these three boozed-up teachers decided to throw children into the mix, that’s when things got disgusting.
Some local parents were mortified to hear their kids’ names in such an inappropriate context when the story broke on local news.
“You teach your kids to respect authority, and then how do you respect authority figures when they behave like that?” said the father of one of the students whose name was uttered in the video.
Teachers involved have thus far received verbal reprimands. No word has surfaced as to whether the district plans to take further disciplinary action.
