NBA Lockout on NewsFeed - Even though the NFL may be on their way to having a season, the closest thing we’ll see to professional basketball is watching the Harlem Globetrotters break every fundamental rule in the book while they dominate the Wile E Coyote of basketball, the Washington Generals. In the NBA, the owners and players are at a complete impasse. The owners are taking the Mr. Burns approach as they want to give the players a maximum contract of 3 years at a time, lower salaries and reduced revenue sharing. The players, on the other hand, are just trying to keep things simple. They want every locker room to be fully equipped with a barber shop, a recording studio, along with full monthly child support for all 13 of Shawn Kemps Kids. Ya know what? This job calls for a mediator. Metta World Peace formerly known as Ron Artest, let’s get this thing done.The NBA players and owners are arguing over contracts for the next season. The owners want to give players a maximum contract of 3 years at a time, lower salaries, and reduced revenue sharing.
