A new feud between President-elect Donald Trump and Georgia Rep. John Lewis has emerged after the civil rights leader blasted Trump as an illegitimate president.
Lewis, a Democrat, said on “Meet the Press” that he would find it challenging to forge a relationship with Trump.
“It’s going to be very difficult,” Lewis replied. “I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president.”
Lewis went on to accuse Russian hackers of helping Trump win the presidential election by targeting the Hillary Clinton campaign, a claim that has yet to be definitively proven by the U.S. intelligence community.
