Here’s The Final Trailer For ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’

The last trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight has finally been dropped, which means that the long wait for the fifth installment in the mega-popular franchise is reaching a close. This time around, the focus is less on plot and more on the unbelievable cinematics that made director Michael Bay famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask).

We get another glimpse at the dynamic between Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and Izabella (Isabela Moner) who was orphaned during the Battle of Chicago in Transfers: Dark of the Moon and only had an adorable mini-Transformer Vespa named Sqweeks to keep her company until meeting Cade.

We also get a deeper look at role that the Transformers played in King Arthur’s time, where they were considered loyal “knights” who helped the people of Camelot as they continuously visited Earth searching for something vital to the existence of the Transformers.

But perhaps the most intense part of the trailer is watching a rogue Optimus Prime wreak havoc upon Earth and the Autobots. During one particularly epic fight scene with Bumblebee – his own partner! – Optimus Prime nearly lops Cade’s head off as he tries to get the once-just Transformer to come back to the light.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters on June 23, 2017.
