top fuel: Rob rage is right. 3 years ago the first dyno was made that was strong enough to handle a top fuel engine. The first engine that went on the machine was reported to have tested at 8,200 HP. The same nitro these cars run on is what that psycho mcveigh used as a bomb in oklahoma city. In fact he bought it from a race fuel company.

  @45_70 NO2 is Nitrous Oxide.: It acts as a refrigerant in you fuel/air mixture to get more into the pot/cylinder for combustion. NITROUS OXIDE IS INERT. i.e.- does not oxidize (burn). Idiot.

Pretty fake..: Well, i don't know if u guys know this, but this is a scene from the new James Bond movie. James Bond challanged braces for a racing duel, thay have to start in France, and finish in Milan. They both have a bomb in their car, wich will explode, when some1 finished 2nd. Braces cheated, and he let the bomb explode just after the start. The movie sound is cutted outta the movie, and is replaced by sound effects and a guy screaming.

Some of you people should not talk...: ...Because many of you don't know what you are talking about. Just to answer some of you knuckleheads... Frankmartin--1500HP from a 4cyl is possible. It just takes a strong block with good internals that can handle a shit load of boost and effectively put it to the wheels.. Tekone--I know it sucks that this turned into a domestic vs Import discussion, but yes, anyone who likes competitive drag racing knows there are 7 second 1000+ HP four cylinder cars racing, so

Not that bad of a crash...: That's a rough crash don't get me wrong, but it's not really a bad crash compared to others that have happened before. That noted, it's no surprise at all that he walked away from it. The safety harnesses and the huge roll cage are what kept him safe. I bet the driver's suit wasn't even wrinkled.

PS: From what I hear, I may be wrong, the Vette can take a shitload more of altering and re-doing things and modifying, then the Viper can. So if that one (Vette) was faster, and if it was much faster, it was probably modified like crazy. Otherwise it would either end up in a close race, or the Viper would win. It looked like the Viper didn't have alot of un-stock things under the hood,but I could be wrong, but that Vette definitly was loaded with more shit

K: I don't know what you're talkin about...Vettes aren't better then Vipers. Well...you said a Vette could kick the shit out of Dodge..probably...considering, minus the Viper, Vette COULD take anything Dodge had...but no way...Vette and Viper have been racin for years...they go back and forth...but ultimatly, Vipers are the shit...PLUS - that wasn't even the same generation of Vette vs Viper, so you really can't judge

Women Drivers.: Now I'm not gonna try to say anything that implies that ladies are bad drivers...but as a side note, the person who crashed that car is one of the only, if not THE only female drag racer. Saw a documentary on National Geographic on the 11th.

undercover racer: i was one of the crew in this film.. this is jst a clip from the upcoming movie "fast and the furius" that old corvette is actually a "F-35" jet fighter... its really amazing when the driver(vin diesel) push the vertical lift-off botton.
