This is a transcript of Brian Pop on Newsfeed…A website called Brain Pop, which has hundreds of educational videos for grades K-12, is getting attention for its efforts to make education more accessible to kids and also to make the internet less enjoyable overall for everybody. While kids are on the Brain Pop game website at school, they’ll learn about things like physics from a cartoon cat and more importantly, they’ll learn that the school firewall which keeps them from all the fun, is damn near impossible to get around. The biggest asset that this website provides teachers is that now when they have to work with a hang over, they will have an educational alternative to just turning the lights down and having a good ol’ fashioned movie day. Looks like some teaching will get done on the morning after Cinco de Mayo this year. Thanks Brain Pop.
