@hot2wheeler I agree with you. You never point a gun at a person let alone shoot at them even if it is with blanks. That could have turned out very badly if a real bullet got mixed in with the blanks somehow.

Blanks still shoot out hot burning powder as you can see from the flash. I'm surprised he didn't get powder burns. That was F'ing stupid and shouldn't have been posted.

@geomoney it was fake. you can see the affects are added later. blanks would not recoil or even rack the slide.
@geomoney deepeastkilla, blanks do the same exact thing as real rounds, but without a BFA (blank firing apparatus) it will not have the gas power to recock, it is fake, but not for the reasons you said...

@doggin6 Both you morons are wrong... A semi-auto pistol isn't a gas powered weapon. They reload and re-cock using the force caused from the ignition of the gun powder and not from recoil force caused from the gas caused. Semi-auto rifles are what you are referring to. Next time you fire any pistol..... Look for the gas tube. You won't find it.

I think blanks can be a little dangerous that close. But it's awesome that pulling the blanket over his head is a defense against a perceived shooting. Hecka tough blanket if it's going to do something.
