Augmented Or Aug-De-Mented Reality?

Way back in 1919, Max Fleischer created Koko the Clown, a little animated character who interacted in the real world. This was even before speaking in film, so the silent animated shorts featured things like Koko boxing with a real life kitten. Many cartoons would follow suit, particularly from Disney, ending with the ultimate live action and animation extravaganza Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which no film will ever beat.
