Asteroid Misses Earth on Newsfeed -An asteroid 30 feet wide missed the earth on the 27th of June by 7,500 miles. Whoa! Why am I only finding this out now? Listen scientists, you got to give me a heads up on this stuff so I can get drunk and celebrate the "maybe end of the world." Don't rob me of a hangover. The name of this asteroid was "2011 MD." Hey, could we give this thing a name less doctor'ish and more dangerously unstoppable like "Lindsay Lohan's Relapse?" Scientists say that an asteroid this size would likely burn up entering the atmosphere and create a streak of bright light in the sky. How much cooler would that look when I'm 6 shots jaeger deep at my asteroid Armageddon party?
