It was not his 1st jump. "its just a bigger 20" meaning he was used to the 20% and moved to 60%. It was a steeper incline than what he was used to. Though, not many people here would ever try any ski jump.

This story ends tragically. On one of his next jumps, he crashed through the fencing at the bottom and died. It was on CNN about three days ago.
