the pixel count is not the photons. a picture would look like $}{it with that many pixels because of the s/n ratio. too much static even with gain offset.
The pixel count is how many photons the camera can process not how far in it can zoom. The telescopes aren't amazing for their pixel count but rather for their ability to see far far distances.

this would be the perfect video to add the scare effect too: you know all the scare videos out there, this one would fit it perfectly...you watching all the buidlings zoom in and out then bammmm, scary lady..
