the left ear (of the hammer) pushes against the lever arm of the DIAS/LL spring thus creating a rearward push at the DIAS/LL. So you could say the hammer generates the spring pressure which is pushing away the disconnector. If the hammer passes the front hook of the trigger on its forward move the auto-sear immediately turns forward into its starting position again.
