1985 - Ozone Layer

http://www.WatchMojo.com looks back at the 20th Century. In 1985, There was a hole in the Ozone Layer above Antartica that was growing larger. The hole in the Ozone Layer meant that there was a higher incident of skin cancer as well as negative affects on crops and animals.
