This is in Durham, NC at the intersection of S Gregson St and W Peabody St. No one died and no I didn't give any of them tickets. The loss of a job is bad enough in my opinion.

Actually, now that I look closer, these videos were all from after they put in the flashing warning light for overheight vehicles. So all of these drivers ignored the height sign and the flashing warning lights. And if you look at the map, all they have to do is go down one block to cross OVER the tracks.

I used to drive a semi back in the early 90's. I have driven in Chicago area then too. I also have encountered many low bridges. The comment by Generic_name is way off, it is always the driver's fault, no matter how much sense it makes to change the signs or warn drivers of a low bridge. The driver will always get a ticket.

Sign or no sign..... AFTER there were NUMEROUS crashes there... the CITY is responsible for keeping an abnormally low bridge in place despite knowing it's accident prone. Hope the 5th or 6th truck driver sued the city for keeping that known dangerously low bridge in place.

@generic_name Exactly! At the very least, they should have a bar or some othe structure or warning sensors before the bridge to stop the truck before it slams into the bridge. That's a pretty strong bridge, though. Doesn't look fazed at all from all the smacks it took.

I'm guessing it's England or Europe as the first Van (Truck) in the clip is Ryder Rental, a Company I've used for Van and truck rental in the UK. It's not Springfield, IL...

@Ettick Well, I think that's a one wat system so I couldn't tell, but seeing as the signs on the side of the road aren't that of england I'd say safely it's Europe or now I know Ryder operates there too it could be Canada. Definately not Springfiled IL... The weather is too gloomy.

@Ettick It's not England. They drive on the right side. It's not somewhere in the rest of Europe which use the metric system. Notice the sign at the end is not in metric.

The Sign at the end wern't there during the Clip, or its another Bridge, or a photoShopped Sign, or they FINALY put a sign that Shows the height of the Bridge *sigh* so many crashes, stupid state
