Ebay to Slash Listing Fees

The reason for the move is that Ebay wants to change their entire business model from the associated auction-style marketplace to a fixed rate, buy-now store. Ebay's hope is that cutting their fees will increase the inventory of items sold through the site, which will ultimately increase their revenue.
