Ebay plans to cut their upfront listing fees by as much as 75-percent. The reason for the move is that Ebay wants to change their entire business model from the associated auction-style marketplace to a fixed rate, buy-now store. Ebay's hope is that cutting their fees will increase the inventory of items sold through the site, which will ultimately increase their revenue.
And there's more trouble brewing for Steve Jobs and company. Apple admitted that its iPod Nano has had problems with smoking and sparking, an issue caused by overheating batteries.
