UFC 86 Patrick The Predator Cote vs Ricardo Big Dog Almeida Quic

Tony T here with our “Rockstar” quick hitter for Saturday’s action. It’s UFC 86 Jackson vs Griffin Saturday night from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on PPV. On the undercard of Jackson and Griffin we have a fight in the 185-pound weight class that will most likely set up a title shot for the winning combatant. Ricardo Almeida is in his second fight after a 3 ? year hiatus from the sport. Almeida is a skilled Jiu-Jitsu fighter with a wealth of experience in UFC and internationally while fighting for Pride. At UFC 81 Almeida returned and won in impressive fashion scoring a win by submission over Rob Yundt. Cote is on a three fight UFC winning streak and prior to that he had lost 4 straight UFC fights. The fighters Cote beat during that streak are not the top shelf quality like a Ricardo Almeida. Cote has improved but I believe Almeida will find an opening against Cote and take him to the mat to force the tap out.
