Ken and the Black Bear Cub

I spotted a black bear cub near the house on Tuesday July 1, 2008 around 8:30pm EST. So, of course, I gathered the camera and went for a walk to get a closer look. This was my first encounter with a black bear. I have since been getting some negative feedback from close friends and family per my closer look thing. I do not plan to go outside again upon the arrival of a black bear, especially a cub. BUT! almost everyone who gave me crap for going outside expressed great interest in my short experience. Funny people!
