The car is driving in a circle, and it is furthest away from him at his jump position. At most, he jumps over a corner of the car. He definitely does not jump over a car that is coming directly at him. Good illusion though.

ehh okay kinda drunk, that was a bit incoherent. *after he points at the other guy and laughs and the shadow passes over his face, right before he walks out into the path of the car, is when the computer animation starts. *after he's jumped the car and runs to the left, and off the screen, a shadow passes over his face again and it switches back. thank you, and goodnight.

  @123Koma Dude...: imo you just made a statement-faceplant! if you slowmo it and look at the back tire and the place he lands, you can't say the car drove behind him. ANYWAY, he made the jump and if he had wanted to he would clear this car by the hight and the period of time he was in the air together with this cars speed. it is a timing masterpiece but i believe it can be done!

..: you guys saying that the car is to the right of Kobe, take a look again at the shadow Kobe is standing on. The car rides over it too and before he jumps he even moves further to his right making it less likely.. but i agree it's fake

What this video doesn't show: is that they are hanging a banana right above Kobe's head, just out of frame. It's not a fake video. The lure of the banana got the beast in him to jump high.
