It doesnt look to be his instructor. He is the center judge, he told them to stop at that first punch to the head. I agree he should have stopped after he dropped the kid. but it is frustrating when the people competing in your ring ignore you and disrespect you ,

He hit him because the guy kept attacking long after the end of the match was signaled. The other guy respectfully stopped defending himself while he was getting pummeled. Few karate teachers would allow that type of disrespect.
