Cop has to pay $18,000 for arresting this fireman. He wanted the fire truck moved to free up a lane and the fireman wanted it there to protect his people.

    I'll block every lane if I have too: Fr8, so your saying I should put the lives of all my guys who are helping someone in danger because YOU can't wait in traffic?? Tough. Ever seen a 4000 pound squad car get hit on the highway? How bout a 20 ton Fire Engine? When you both you come back and tell me which one you would rather hide behind. YOU don't want to wait in traffic... BOO-HOO....

    Overacting fire chief!: There was no need to block an additional lane of traffic. Vehicle was on shoulder and lane next to it was already blocked. I know you have a job to do, but other people need to get on with their lives. One more lane blocked is just going to screw traffic up more and make an accident more likely.

    That fat friggin cop: was just in a hurry to get outta there and head back to the station for donuts... The sooner he arrested somebody, the sooner he could get there. Didn't you hear the dispatcher saying, "We just received a fresh batch of Boston Creams"?

    Not very professional!: I have been a cop for 28 years and the guy in this video is the kind of cop that gives cop's a bad name. Sure, it can be frustrating when the Fire Dept blocks open lanes especially when the Dept. of Transportation dictates the Police keep them open but it is a matter of "life safety" and my department anyway understands why the Fire dept does it. It does tend to cause accidents in the back up though until traffic slows. We love our Fire Guys & Gals where I work. The cop in the video

      @Air22LOL: a matter of "life safety?" why is this in quotations, you think your duties are more important then everyone elses eh.. well sir "life safety" is the most important thing when your a "human" who "lives" not "cops" abusing the "power" they shouldnt have even been "given" in the "first place"

      @VashManOK, but: firemen are usually the first to respond and that's why they are now trained to be EMS workers along with all their other jobs as a fireman. You're not a fireman any more without some kind of EMS training.

    DB cop...: Totally working for the wrong team... what an ass hole. If I was his boss I would fire him. You don't do that to your fellow service men. And if I was any one of those other firemen I would split the cops head open with my axe. what an asshole!!!
