Where was the camera on that filmed this ? The car passed right underneath it, so it couldn't have been on a tripod or fixed to a wall.

I had seen this before but with less resolution. He does respond to the approaching race car and his face shows the 'oh s___!' response quite well. To his credit he recovers quite well. If I was ever in a rapidly degerating situation it would be nice if he were there to cover my back side.
