Yves Edwards: I Am a Fighter

Yves Edwards began his training in traditional martial arts as a youth before getting into mixed martial arts. He is a journeyman in the game of MMA, starting his professional career in 1997 at a World Pankration Tournament in Texas with several other big name fighters such as Frank Shamrock, Mikey Burnett, and Guy Mezger. He has been around since the beginning days of the sport when no gloves were used and there were limited rules. Over the years Edwards has crafted his own fighting style known as "Thugjitsu," a unique blend of striking and grappling.
