  Princess Julianna Airport: This is the best place in the world for airplane watching. If you go to flightlevel350.com you can see many videos of takeoff and landing there.

  Ground sensing radar in these planes can't determine water, so they think they're higher than they are.: One of the pilots actually flew under water for 3 miles, came out of the water when it got shallow, and landed normally.

  my pops and i were there one time: at the sunset bar (where they are filming from) and we went down to watch a 747 take off from behind on the beach... yeah dont do that... we got blasted *literally* into the ocean which was our only refuge from the blazing hot heat and sand pelting your body. regardless i wish it was on tape cause Id have $400

  I went there...: It's cooler when they take off because the jet pushes the ocean water back it looks soo cool. Then the jet has to to into a steep climb upward so it won't hit the mountains. Really bad location if you ask me.
