We have those in Arizona: Caught one twice that big even in Colorado. Ounce for ounce, pound for pound, they have the strongest bite in the world. Bad little mo-fos. I'm not altogether buying this crap about pack hunting. They aren't colonizing, and as far as I know only colonizing (bees, ants, termites, etc) insects hunt in groups. Nice vid.

they teach you: that one will run away from you, two you run away from them. They can actually use pack tactics and they wont back down like that one did if they have another. one of my buddies that just got back from iraq showed me videos of two camel spiders running after some guys messing with them

very cool: they are actually not spiders though, they are in the scorpion family and some places call them wind scorpions. I seen some running when I was in Saudi Arabia. Some army buddies of mine use to have them fight scorpions.

Off subject but...: I'm canadian not american, but it must be said that the troops DO their jobs with extreme precision and professionalism I have no doubt. It's the politics that screws everything up, including the worlds view on what soldiers actually do. It's like they say, a soldier has the privilege of looking their enemies in the eye, we have to trust what we see on tv and shit. Nah soldiers take orders, politician screw up the orders....sick ass spider though!!
