I believe in both sides here.: I mean, you don't whine about your fish or meat do you? (Except if your vegetarian.). BUT, i FULLY support that this is WRONG. I mean, at least kill them immediatly or something. But DONT let them SUFFER. This is just horrible i agree.

Cruel?: Yes but is it any different from slapping a spider crawling across the floor? Animal rights should apply to all animals - not just the cute ones like anything with fur or mammals generally... Dolfins are not an endangered species - so free game. Should we stop eating steaks and burgers when a movie about the circumstances cows live under is aired?...

@BoFo are you serious...: yes it is different... if you look at it that way why not hack up people too... sell them... i am not some hippie green peace vegetarian, but i don have compassion for dolphins, and zero compassion for spiders... killing a spider with the slap of a hand is alot better then letting these things very slowly bleed to death... i can't stand literal apollogists like you who think that they are enlightened and pragmatic... get a grip

jesus man: thats stuff is horrible, there deffinitly is nicer ways to kill them, obviously dolphin fishing has to continue but the brutallity can stop. One of the worst images was that pipe pouring gallons of blood into the ocean, or the red sea shore.

We all have to eat: Different cultures eat different things. I don't agree with the way these animals are killed. I think that we could come up with a much more humane way of killing these animals. I hunt and fish but my kills are as humane as possible. The other serious problem with this is over doing it, the japanese take too much and because of that the world population suffers. We all have to eat but theres a right and wrong way to do.
