  PITS R Amazing! Its just BAD OWNERS!: I think most of us normal abiding citzens know this by now, but I have 2 6 year old PITS who work in Daycares with children here in Ontario Canada. and yes now they since the last year have 2 wear muzzles due to the law and all the children are like so sad for them, but hey what do you do I guess! There is more ignorance in the world and thats how its always been, at least my 2 PITS are enjoying there time with children! F%CK THE GOVERENMENT AS$HOLES!!!

    @buff2626Why is it the governments fault?: Didn't you just say it was the fault of bad owners? The gov has to do something if so many people turn these dogs into attack dogs! I agree, it is the owners, but someone has to do something. Be mad at the right ones!

  Ignorance is bliss....: I have a pittie and he is the most loving dog anyone who's ever had the privilege of meeting him has ever seen. He absolutly loves people and will run up to anyone for attention.   People talking....but have no clue: For starters i currently own an american pitbull. They are energetic, strong with great attitudes if they are raised right. Just like any big dog breed, if they decide to attack they will cause more damage and a smaller dog. But, in there own they are no more of a killer than german shepards....or any other big dog breed. Banning dogs falls under the same misguided logic of banning guns. The breed has nothing to do with why these dogs attacked Second I think it's bulls

    @Blackouttsii agree except....: your right pitbulls have a bad rep due to bad owners. but they can cause much worse damage than all the other types of dogs except a few(rott, gsd) becuase pitbulls have the strongest bites b/c of the amount of strong muscle in their necks(aka the lockjaw theory)

  The reason people want pitbulls is ...: the whole danger factor that comes with them.They want people to think that they are cool because they have a dangerous dog and that makes them badass

    @bil311actually they dont, rots, german shepards, huskys, even labs have a stronger bite strength than the pit bull so get your facts straight before you go around tainting the name of a beautiful breed, a dog is what you make it, any breed and size, hate has no favorites.

  Be fair.: Its not the breed... check up on dog attack statistics by breed and you will see that pits are as prone to attack a human as a lab. Its not the dogs fault that it was raised by some vagrant drug pusher who kept it locked up in the basement and fed it gunpowder. I live outside detroit and work in the city every day, i have to talk to these kind of people all the time, and its sad to say, but its true, they treat the dogs like shit, beat the piss out of them, fight them and let them loose on the

  unbelieveable: Ya know I will agree they should be banned, and I have actually owned pitbulls. couple mixed 2 purebred, out of the 4 I owned only 1 was just not right in the head. however, you see way to many of these attacks. most people get them because they think it is cool to own them and they treat them like attack dogs which makes it even worse I hope that kid is ok

    @ajmc5Really Rueme: People buy PitBulls becuase its a aggresive and strong animal. The breed of animal was useful 500 years ago. I agree that they are a product of their owners but the sale of a viscous animal like that should be banned. I am not a fluffy bunny lover or poodle fag its just there is no place for animals like Dobermans, PitBulls, Mastifs, etc.. in an environment where children are present or in the general public for that matter. They can live a long life as a guard or police dog.
