Evil_Munchie - 2 years ago
use steam: all you need is steam and you can play counterstrike bioshock or any other of steam's sick games and for music just get limewire
Vandal_X - 2 years ago
big problem: you're never going to be able to use any CDs or DVDs. Not even floppies. Other than that it rocks, but there's no way I'm giving up games and music

halofreaky - 2 years ago
hmm: you could probally even do this with distilled water... it may or may not be possible, i may try with OLLLDDD components
Choiboydaman517 - 2 years ago
@halofreaky distilled water: well even though distilled water is non conductive it is corrosive and will do a lot of damage to metals
cbarnes28 - 2 years ago
with the oil: you don't need any fans and it runs twice as fast because it it has such a low temp
Fastpain - 2 years ago
hmmm: i dont know how conductive mild laxitives are.. or if this is even real.. but its pretty awesome nonetheless

hard drive: I don't see it submersed in the oil............is it submersed or not ??
The_White_Power_ranger - 2 years ago
@hypersteveO No: The heat of the mineral oil could crash the hard drive.
wired666 - 2 years ago
that is #$%^#$ COOL: do you need to change the oil from time to time? does anyone know? again Very kool.
nooneatnowhere - 2 years ago
@wired666 i dont think so: just get all the dust off of your components first
SuprFlyUSMC1 - 2 years ago
I like how it says..: "mild laxative" on the bottle of the mineral oil..
johndeere853 - 2 years ago
so????: All of the computer hardware automatically is submergable?? and all of the add ons?
Cubes001 - 2 years ago
@johndeere853 Yes: Mineral Oil doesn't conduct electricity, so the parts don't short out; it's as if you were cooling it using normal air, essentially.
Rocket_Smoke - 2 years ago
It's just bling...: yawn....
OMFG: how long did you run this thing...........that freakin rulz
gstb - 2 years ago
@hypersteveO Sould run forever: And replace it with a simple water pump, then it works just like you car. Stay away from conductive liquids!! Oil good, mercury bad!!
