Virginia Tech is America! A question to Americans about the Virginia Tech murders.

good point: but i don't see why you being canadian makes a difference. Could have just left that part out and it would have made your point more concise.

Hey No News News: You should better remove this vid. I live in Canda and let me tell you, we pamper the criminals here so, you better start asking our own government why they let serious criminals lose so easily instead of yapping.

@BengininiAnd your point is?: Several students, teachers, administrators, cops, a judge and the medical establishment knew Cho was a dangerous nutcase, but he was never entered into the gun registry database. What has pampering in Canada got to do with Virginia Tech?

Excellent post: Good point, America is the land of the free and the deranged. If they have enough money, anyone can get any weapon they want. Clearly there aren't any morals or thoughts behind it. That's what's wrong with those pig-dogs. Funny how America is always proving itself to be the black sheep of the 1st world countries.

incoherant rantings: When you ask a coherant question thats not incumbered with looney left ranting I'll be glad to answer. Until then I'll make sure I have my .45 ACP concealed on my person. Now thats something that would have stopped this fool!

Look in Our Backyard First: Firstly the last two similar murderers in our country (I'm a Canadian as well) obtained guns by legal channels. These types would get guns by illegal ways if they could not get them legally. If they could not get guns they would fill a truck with diesel fuel and fertilizer or hijack a plane and fly it into a building. Long and short if you don't give a rats behind if you live or die taking a bunch with you is easy. We may never know what made this joker snap but the big question

First of all: Your asking an average american rather than the government of that state. What I heard was that the murder lied on his application to get a gun. Normally when a person buys a gun there is a backgroung check, and in this case there was. The information of him being in an insane hosptial/asylum did not show up because many people argued that was to personal of information to give out. This kid wasnt even an American citizen, in my analysis he came out to be a "crazy asian bastard" who killed fo

Basic gun legislation...: The question is valid but you don't need to "Nationalize" it. Who cares if you're Canadian? A Korean bought an American-made gun and went KungFu crazy. You're Canadian and can't do anything about the US laws. And don't make like you represent THE Canadian perspective. You're another clown in the circus
@smrtcarNRA: there is no excuse or justification for a judge signing a paper that Cho was "mentally ill" and a "danger to himself and others," and not flagging Cho as a person who should fail the instant background check. Please understand, Cho passed a background check after he was deemed "mentally ill." Fascinating that the media are too fearful of the NRA to focus on this crucial fact.

First of all: It was the Justice system's fault. It was Virginia Tech's fault for putting Cho in a dorm room with same people knowing that he was mentally unstable. Second of all: It's is an American right to be able to purchase a gun. Every adult in America is entitled to this right unless they have committed a felony or are mentally unstable. Why the "insta-check" at the gun shop did not pull that up, do not know. Something must change. Now, if you please. Take that ridiculous hat off. And go ba
@jwemdefirst of all: America needs decent gun control in order to stop the slaughter of 60,000 innocent people every year. Nothing else matters.
