Bill.....: Gerry is right. This is less an issue of loose immigration laws and more an issue of loose drunk driving laws. Bill's right that Ramos had no right to be here, but his status as an illegal alien is virtually irrelevant to the crime he committed because DUI's are committed by every class, race, and age. Bill O'Reilly is a disgrace to our country.

@GoTCTwins but: the crime should have never happened. Hes arguing that this could have been prevented if the laws were upheld. Basically, we should enforce all the laws, not just the easy ones. Although Bill does take it to the extreme, i have to agree with the main point of his argument in that he should have been stopped and removed from the country upon finding that he wasn't legally allowed here.

@GoTCTwins capnCrinkles - you miss the point. Although I agree, he should have been deported the first time, the problem remains. In a perfect world with no illegal immigration (mind you that's how I was able to be born in this country by the way...) the fact remains, people will continue to be killed by drunk drivers. These girls may have been spared, but certainly some one else may be and will be the victim.
