  Thats why they are by standers: I don't understand when you see an civil servant fighting for his or her life why they need to ask for help. They are people who have kids and families they'd like to go home too. If the criminal had gotten his gun the cop would have been dead.

Thank you for realizing your civic duty and filming the struggle without taking the time to even CALL for help until everyone else steps in to help and the officer has the crack head detained.   man: i love how people just sit there and look on or walk right by it, not even calling 911, its just like how having a car alarm these days is useless, no one does anything about it, no one looks or notices it. fuck i wouldve booted that crack head right in the skull if i was watching on, or at least decked him with something to help out the cop, you know hes only trying to protect normal people...

  lol: There must have been a crowd of people just off shot watching! I must admit though, if I saw that, I wouldnt be sure if I should help.
