Early years; he was among the top ten touring rock guitarists. Yet, his playing became repetitive, and lacked originality. I always hoped for a solo effort from him. He`never reached his full potential. This solo is simply a montage of all his other riffs, runs, and the unique pedal tones he created. He`was once great, now all he does is his old solos and worn out distortion. Sad.

  @theguywitdacharger Wrong..I was back stage with him often...he warmed up for 30 to 45 mins before each show. While David acted like a spoiled rock god..what an ass BUT a hell of a front-man.

shred: he is indeed an amazing guitarist, but he doesn't do anything particularly innovative or incredible besides having extremely fast finger. Trust me, I've been playing guitar for 10 years and respect the hell outta the guy, really all you gotta do to play like that is practice til you have perfect control of your fingers and learn your scales. No, I'm not as good as him, nor will I ever be. What I'm saying is if you have fingers like him and know your scales you can do runs like that all day. You wann

  @choochstr Don't have a diverse collection uh? Eddie was one of the best commercially promoted guitarist. There were 10 other guys three times as good as he was but they stayed true to there music and went independent. Now they are ruling guitar gods...eddie was only more visible.
