Partly fake: The initial footage of the cannon and explosion is real. The US tested nuclear shells a few times. However, the footage of the devastation of the forest, cars etc. is from another nuclear test.

if this was a: nuclear bomb of just a few kilotons, how can I explain the great devastation shown in the clip? It's at least similar to the bomb on Hiroshima (which still is much bigger in size). Nevertheless I didn't know they could make small A-bombs that could be fired with a cannon.

one megaton: i think this is a one megaton nuke. there was a similar clip on the histroy channel. they said this type of weapon wasnt practical due to its limited range from the cannon and the fact that it would more than likely cause significant causalties on both sides. its called a "last resort nuke".

Divebomber..: you don't know what the hell you are talking about. It's whats known as a battlefield nuke. The government has nukes small enough to fit in a suitcase. Not all nukes are 20 megaton warheads. This one was probably less than a couple of kilotons.

Wrong direction: They are pointing the cannon in the wrong direction. Looks like it needs to be pointed towards Bagdad
Not fake: This is from the movie Trinity and Beyond that TLC had on. It is a 155mm bomb fired in the early 60's
fake: I know this video but it's definately fake. An A-bomb is compared to the barrel of the cannon much bigger. At least bigger than any man in that clip. So it's impossible you could fire an A-bomb with the kind of cannon in the videoclip. But the explosion itself is real. Still a cool clip to see the effects of an A-bomb on houses, vehicles and nature.
