I saw this video and at first I thought it was a hoax. But as a mechanic for most of my adult life, listening to the mill in the truck told me he had something on the order of 600 horses of big block grunt under the hood. Even though he's as aerodynamic as a brick, he still has enough to Diss this Vette..

    thats not what he meant: He meant that a huge truck like that still manages to be .36 seconds behind a corvette, which in my opinion would be embarrasing for the vette

    If by "smokes" you mean "loses to"...: The clocks clearly show that the Vette won, finishing the 1/4 mile with a time of 13.53 seconds @ 104.17mph. The 4x4 did it in 13.89 seconds @ 93.75 mph. I suspect that the original post meant that the 4x4 was winning early in the race but that the aerodynamics killed the truck at the end. Interesting: You can often predict 1/4mile time and speed with: Speed at 1/4 mile point = 220 * (HP / Weight) ^.3138 Quarter Mile time = 6.9446 X (weight / HP)^.2841 ...but
