heres the point...: clear a room in less than a second... and yes they are used in combat. Imagine facing off a foe at 25 feet who is armed with an automatic pistol - point below the objective and squeeze off a half-second burst - approximately 9 rounds will spray a perpetrator who has to effectively aim what he is firing at a typical maximum of 2 rds/sec... "point & $#@!%"

there not made for combat: just becuase there a gun doesnt mean they have to be used for combat. a lot of gun colectors get guns like these to go out and have fun at the range.

?: i seriously don't get the point of automatic pistols- there is rediculous recoil and no way to control it, so it would practically be useless in any combat situation
