AC130 flying gunship: guys - this is actually an AC130 gunship(a propeller driven slow-moving airplane) from over 2 miles away from the scene! The flares that are seen detonating allow the auto-rangefinder(s) of the 20mm gatling guns to accurately sight in the targets. The insurgents are using an AK-47 to pace off the distance of their roadside bomb that they're assembling so they got what they deserved to protect our troops who rolled past this exact location in a convoy the next morning. actually...: after further investigation by the ARMY, these guys were only farmers working a field. If you look closely, the first vehicle they shoot up is a tractor towing a disc behind it...look further than what you want to believe you see

truth: This video is from Iraq OIF 1. These assholes where hidding a SA-7 SAM in the field. I am pretty sure that it was Dec or Jan 04. How do I know this you ask, I was there when it happened.
