Zoe Saldana has had roles in many films starring A-list actors. In 2002, she starred in Crossroads, the film that was Britney Spears’ first major movie role. That same year, Zoe starred alongside Nick Cannon in Drumline, a comedy-drama about the college marching band/drumline culture. In 2003, Zoe played a minor role in the popular film Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, with Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom. Next up for Zoe was the 2004 Spielberg film, Terminal, starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones. In 2005, Zoe starred in the loose remake of the movie Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner (1967) titled Guess Who. This film also starred Ashton Kutcher and the late Bernie Mac. Zoe’s next big film, Vantage Point (2008), starred Forest Whitaker, Dennis Quaid, and LOST’s Matthew Fox. 2009 was a big year for Zoe, starring in 2 blockbuster science fiction films, JJ Abrams’ Star Trek and James Cameron’s Avatar. Sequels for Avatar and Star Trek are in the works.
