While many skaters are quick to jump into a fight, very few actually possess any sort of halfway-decent fighting skills. As a result, most skater fights are characterized by random arm swinging, copious amounts of slapping, extended periods of grappling, and high-pitched squealing. It is because of this that the term “bitch fight” is commonly used to describe altercations between skaters.

Though the vast majority of skater fights are totally lame, some can be fairly savage and/or exciting. For instance, when skaters go head to head with other skaters in a group versus group situation, the fight is often highly entertaining as it involves a large number of small fights all taking place at the same time.
