As long as skateboards have been around there have been accidents on them. Although skaters can make gliding on the board seem deceptively easy, the sport takes years of practice to gain even intermediate skills. This lesson was learned all too well by the girl in the skateboard on concrete video below. Her inexperience proved to be her downfall.
Of course even experienced skaters performing for cameras can have a bad day. This is the case of the skater int he video above. As he approaches a ledge he loses his board which sets off a chain of events that prov most unfortunate for the young man. as his leg crumples there is no flesh left to deflect the fall except for his face. Causing the mother of all faceplants.
